As the poet Pablo Neruda once called it, Manizales is a sunset factory. Located on the Andes, surrounded by hills and steep mountains, is this unique Colombian city. Manizales Gin is inspired by it’s scenic views and remarkable sunsets.

I created a gin brand based on my hometown, Manizales. A series of bottles with a variety of flavor infusions (anise, lime and citrus) and a tonic water bottle with the purpose of reflecting the city itself. I created a landscape view with a cut that wraps around the bottle.

What’s Unique?
By trying to create a different and unique bottle design for my hometown, I decided to take a minimalist approach to reflect a prominent factor of Manizales, it’s remarkable sunsets. By combining colors related to each flavor that are reminiscent of the nature and sunsets present in the city, I aimed to represent these in a more abstract way.
