The project consists in designing a functional package to explore shape, textures, colors and templates. No boxes are allowed. It also needs to associate with branding, good typography use and design and contrasts. “Egg for one” is a functional package meant to keep a fragile object from breaking, in this case the object was an egg. The whole idea was carrying the egg and support a 2 meters free fall ‘while keeping the packaging beautiful, innovative and simple. “Egg for one” is a half circle, and “Egg for two” is a whole circle. This was a project meant to explore and learn about packaging techniques, buying ONE egg at the store was never the main purpose. To make it more appealing, on the back of the label, there will be different recipes that can be cooked with ONE egg. For this project, cardboard and paper were the only materials allowed.
