Royal Canin is a French Company that manufactures dog and cat food.
This new design makes the packaging more user friendly. It reduces extra efforts like storing food in another airtight container as it is a storage container in itself, airtight and waterproof. It is easy to handle and portable. The user just have to open the cap, pour food in the bowl and close it.
This packaging is completely Eco-friendly. The material used for manufacturing the box contains layers of paperboard, polyethylene and aluminum foil. Paperboard is the main material. It provides stability, strength and smoothness to the printing surface. Polyethylene protects against outside moisture and helps aluminum foil stick to the paperboard. The aluminum foil protects against oxygen and light to maintain the nutritional values and flavors of the food in the package in ambient temperatures. Bio-based HDPE is used for manufacturing caps as it improves the environmental profile because it is a renewable material.
The bright color is used for the packaging so that the packaging stands out among other products. Illustration of a dog is used used to indicate the pet owner that this dog food. The dog in the packaging is thinking about the food as he is hungry. A transparent slot is given on the thinking cloud which gives visual of the inside content to the pet owner.
The purpose of redesigning this pack was to make it more user friendly and Eco-friendly.
What’s Unique?
