This was a packaging designed for Kukoyo Camlin calligraphy ink. Camlin does not sell any calligraphy ink so I have taken there existing fountain pen ink packaging as a reference and designed new packaging for calligraphy ink. While observing their existing packaging I found out problems like the gap between bottle and box is more than necessary which can be reduced. Existing packaging made it difficult to stack more than 4-5 boxes on top of each other. Scope for improving surface graphics could also be seen. To resolve all these problems, I designed new packaging.

What’s Unique?
What makes it so special is its inner box surface graphics, people can easily get a basic knowledge of basic strokes and how to hold a pen by just reading it. The box is also unique as compared to normal packaging boxes it can be opened by using only one hand and the color of the lower box can differ according to the color of the calligraphy ink.
