Client and product:
Our studio has worked with Vityaz TMC for many years. During this time, we have developed packaging designs for various cheese product lines – “Golden Mountains”, “Let’s Go”, “Cheese Boom”, and “Milk Studio”. These trademarks were intended for retail. The new “Pizzarella” product line is primarily aimed at professional use by pizzerias, cafes, and delicatessen.

Objective:
The company planned to sell the new cheese product line within the HoReCa market as a solution to prepare cheese dishes, such as pizza, pies, and salads. The product line must have a simple and straightforward system of navigation and be substantially different from other products within the same and adjacent categories.

Services provided:
A concept of packaging design, mock-ups, and printing files for the cheese product line packaging have been developed.

The process:
When we set out to develop the design concept for this project, the “Pizzarella” trademark had already been registered by the client. Our designers have developed three cheese packaging design concepts. The client has chosen a difficult-to-produce yet memorable packaging design based on typography. The navigation within the product line is achieved using alternating yellow and white stripes. Every SKU has its own orientation of these stripes.

The result:
When we initially started working on the packaging, the client only planned to work with the HoReCa segment. However, as the development progressed, the objective changed: now, “Pizzarella” was to enter regional retail as well.
