Buma is a female-owned cosmetic brand that focuses on providing minimalist makeup essentials that work on every skin type and tone—and that are as simple to use as they are to master. Their mission is to make consumers feel like they are wearing a natural second skin, without it feeling heavy.

The identity tries to steer away from typical premium cosmetics visuals by introducing muted color in the packaging and overall branding. The dark olive green color signifies harmony and ambition. The packaging is kept minimal and clean, producing a premium and stylish finish. The simple yet bold logotype indicates the confidence in quality that Buma represents.

What’s Unique?
To differentiate the brand even more from competitors and to create a contemporary feel, we merged monochrome photography, makeup elements, and textures which boiled down to an eye-catching collage for the inside packaging, adding a nice little surprise for consumers when they open the package.
