Volfas-Engelman is the second largest brewery in Lithuania, commanding a 30% market share in both volume and value. Despite its strong position, the brand has seen a decline in image, especially among young males aged 20 to 29.

THE CHALLENGE

Create a sub-brand, Volfas-Engelman ICE, that appeals to younger consumers through product innovation and a refreshed brand image.

THE SOLUTION

The design remains true to the Volfas-Engelman aesthetic, balancing tradition with modernity. Innovative printing techniques were introduced, including thermographic inks. When the beer reaches its ideal chill, the icon and tessellated pattern turn icy blue, showing it’s ready to enjoy.
