Moscow based brand-design agency Uniqa Creative Engineering has recently worked on redesigning the legendary “Okhota Krepkoye” beer for “Heineken United Breweries”. The widely-known brand received new shape and fresh original graphics.

Beer’s signature high alcohol percentage is translated via embossing imitating rifled steel texture. The same texture is visually adapted for the aluminum can. The trick with embossing has not only helped to express “Okhota Krepkoye” brand character but has also made the packaging extremely tactile and highly recognizable on the shelf.

Logo and basic graphics have remained basically unchanged, however, they look bolder and brighter against the new glass texture of the bottle and inclined logo on the aluminum can. All these changes have not only underlined the genuinely masculine character of the brand but have also strengthened it’s positions among target consumers.
