London-based Trubel source the best quality artisan truffles, supplying its products to Michelin restaurants. Hills Design set out to create something fresh and unique for the retail market, reflecting the vision of its owner. Our idea was to keep the colours simple and inline with the truffle products which are black and white. The use of an abstract truffle illustration, combined with clean and modern typography helped move them away from the more conventional imagery in this sector.

To enhance the premium quality of the brand, the labels were printed onto an uncoated textured paper with spot varnishing for the illustration. Initial launch of five products have been very successful, with new lines being rolled out soon, as well as a new website which will allow anyone to now purchase these premium quality products online.

What’s Unique?
Our idea was to keep the colours simple and inline with the truffle products which are black and white. Using these colours helps to stand out more on shelf and differentiate from other truffle brands.
