Coala Papéis is a Brazilian Northeastern Company that manufactures sanitary products and, since 2021, has been offering bags for the packaging of domestic waste. This project encompasses the development of packaging for bags of 15, 30, 50, 100 and 200L.
Produced of flow-pack foil with printing only in the front, the packaging has layout composed of lines and forms predominantly organics, connecting their style to the product nature and function (disposal of domestic waste that are, mostly, organics).
The choice of blue as the main colour, since it is directly related to the concept of cleaning, detaches the product from the idea of something dirty or unwholesome. At the same time, it reinforces the connection with its function, which is to clean or purify and, besides the casual aspect that the vibrant colours give to the packaging, they also work as a visual element of differentiation between the product variations, making their identification easier.
The organic design and bright colours that composes the layout bring to the packaging a casual and vibrant aspect, at the same time that reinforces the idea of something clean and dynamic.
