Tikki Cat Food is an already existing brand. Their cat food is rich in nourishing animal protein. I chose their brand because I loved their packaging design. It’s very colourful and fun. I wanted to experiment with their design style by trying out different variations of the same. My main focus in this project is to make cat food packaging sustainable.

There are certain issues with cat food packaging that make it difficult for people to use. One of the common issues is loose packaging. It cannot contain food once opened. That leads to throwing away the packaging which takes us to the second most common issue being an increase in waste. And lastly, I chose to focus my project solely on the fact that nothing has been made for travelling. It’s difficult for a person to carry so much every time they travel with their pet.

The product that I designed has two containers attached to each other. One for food and the other for water. It can carry a total of 500 grams/ml of food and water. The height is 14cm with both containers combined. It can be used more than once and is easy for people to carry while travelling.
