My job was to redesign the packaging of the Stühmer bar chocolates and bonbons. My primary goal is to unify the confused overall picture. It should be easily recognizable and have a modern design. This will broaden the brand’s target audience. It should also be eye-catching for the younger generation.

My concept is based on geometric pattern systems. I researched Hungarian folk art motifs (also found in the current Stühmer brand image) and designed modern transcripts for the samples. The elements in the designed system can be varied. The samples determine the packaging. I updated the look when I redesigned the logo. I also modernized the crown.

Project success: With this project, I won the Arany Rajzszög Award (Golden Pushpin Award) in the Diploma of the Year category.

What’s Unique?
Its uniqueness lies in the sample system. The four basic forms can be varied in almost infinite numbers. Thus, the brand can be expanded to the full product range. Each product has a unique character, yet they form a unified overall picture.
