This is the creative gift box design we created for Chaoyouwei. Initially, we focused on product positioning, aiming to create a comprehensive snack gift box that resonates with young consumers. Therefore, we applied a user perspective to understand what kind of products young people are interested in and willing to purchase. “Quality, Appearance, and Attitude” were the core keywords we identified. Starting from the product level, we established a deep connection with consumers, achieving a strong connection and resonance between product and consumer.
The content featured four of Chaoyouwei’s most popular products, perfectly embodying the theme of “A Box of Delicious Flavors, Delicious Power.” We also considered whether a more representative language could serve as a medium for communication between the product and consumers. The message “Super Powerful” was immediately apparent, a creative concept that perfectly aligned with Chaoyouwei’s brand core, striking three key points in one.
For the packaging, we aimed to create a youthful design, employing flat illustrations and grid-based typography. While maintaining a sense of quality, we contrasted with the industry’s mainstream appetite-focused aesthetic, conveying a “different” attitude. The core theme is gilded, while supporting selling points are edge-wrapped, adding a surrounding texture to enhance visual focus. The overall box design incorporates a semi-shell exterior, serving as both outer packaging and a personalized “shoulder bag,” achieving multiple uses.
For this design, we sought to employ a design language that resonates with young consumers, creating a snack gift box that combines aesthetic appeal with strong social connections and practical functionality.
