With the new premium trio Beck’s Pale Ale, Amber Stock and 1873 Pils, Beck’s meets its slogan “Taste the World”: the distinctive taste of these beers comes from Australia, the UK and Germany.
Solutions was involved in this unique design project from the initial strategic concept to the final artwork and implementation. And throughout the entire process, our creative teams were thrilled to be part of it. Converting this kind of an in-dependent and trend-based idea into an easy-to-understand and successful mass-market product – without losing site of brand values – is a real design challenge.
All design elements create strong cohesion between primary and secondary packaging and guarantee a unique appearance: The body label is inspired by the brand architecture, but was given a new interpretation and has a darker, premium-looking appearance. Particular attention to the back of the label: In addition to the brand and the name of the variety a “taste-scale” appears mid-centre. The bottle cap completes the picture: The matte-glossy effect is a new feature. The innovative concept is supported by an unusual packaging: The 4-pack.
